When to use Get-NetAdapterHardwareInfo
Anytime you need to get the hardware information of the network adapter.
NOTE: This includes PCI capabilities, MSI capabilities, and PCI device custom properties. These are read-only properties.
How to use Get-NetAdapterHardwareInfo
Display the default view of hardware properties for all visible network adapters:
Get-NetAdapterHardwareInfo -Name “*”
Display the default view of hardware properties the specified network adapter:
Get-NetAdapterHardwareInfo -Name “*” | Format-List -Property “*”
